As per provisions in Clause 5(1) of Maharashtra Ordinance No. XXII of 2004, dated 16th August 2004. Applications & Project Report in the prescribed from are invited from the Sponsoring Body who desires to establish new Self-Financed University, for under graduate degree level and post graduate level courses in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy / Architecture/ Town Planning/Hotel Management and Catring Technology/Applied Arts and Carafts and M.B.A. and M.C.A./Health Science/Biotechnology/ Humaities like Arts Science and Commerce/Law/ Education/Physical Education/Music/Performing Arts/Finance/Sports etd. The Demand Draft of Rs. 15 lakhs drawn in favour of "Joint Director, Higher Education, Mumbai" as a processing fees should be attached along with the application. The applicants Society/Trust should have been registered on or before 30.09.2004.

The contents of the Projest Report are mentioned in Clause 4(1) of the above referred ordinance. The ordinance is aviailable at Government Press, Charni Road, Mumbai, Government Book Depots, Office of Director of Higher Education, Pune, Regional Joint Directors Office, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Nanded, Jalgaon, Amravati. The applications in the prescribed form should be submitted in six copies to the Deputy Secretary,(University Education) Higher and Technical Education Department, Room No.416 Annexe, Mantralaya Annexe, Mumbai-400032. The application form andf a list of documents to be accompained along with the application are made available on Government Web Site www.maharashtra.gov.in and Directorate of Technical Education Web site www.dte.org.in.

Due to exceptional circumstances the last date for receipt of completed application form with project report for the year 2005-2006 will be 31st October, 2004. All future years the last date of application will be 30th September.
